Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tixora platform and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Tixora Studios (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Tixora is a multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides Discord server owners and their teams with tools to manage customer support — including ticket panels, categories, automations, transcripts, team roles, and related features. Access is provided through a web dashboard and a Discord bot application.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

2.1 Account Registration

To use the Service you must authenticate via Discord OAuth2. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

2.2 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by Discord’s Terms of Service in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

2.3 Workspace Ownership

Each Discord server linked to the Service constitutes a “workspace.” The Discord server owner is the workspace owner and is responsible for the workspace’s activity, team members, and plan subscription.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or Discord’s Terms of Service.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm any person or group.
  • Distribute spam, phishing content, or malicious code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or to other users’ data.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service without written consent.
  • Use the Service in a way that degrades performance or availability for other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules at our sole discretion.

4. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

4.1 Free Tier

A free tier is available with defined limits. No payment information is required to use the free tier.

4.2 Paid Plans

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are displayed on our Pricing page and may change with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your paid plan at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Your plan will remain active until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused time.

4.4 Plan Downgrades

Downgrading to a lower plan may result in the immediate removal of features or data that exceed the lower plan’s limits (e.g., custom bot tokens, bot status messages). We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before destructive downgrades take effect.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.

You retain ownership of all content you submit through the Service (ticket messages, forms, panel configurations, etc.). By submitting content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the Service.

6. Bring Your Own Bot (BYOB)

The Bring Your Own Bot feature allows Business and Enterprise plan subscribers to connect a Discord bot token they own. By using this feature you confirm that:

  • You are the legitimate owner or authorized operator of the bot application.
  • Your bot complies with Discord’s Developer Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • You accept full responsibility for any actions performed by the connected bot on Discord.

We encrypt your token at rest using AES-256-GCM and never transmit it in plain text. Upon plan downgrade below Business tier, the token is immediately wiped from our systems.

7. Transcripts and Data Retention

Ticket transcripts are retained for the duration defined by your plan. Upon plan downgrade, transcripts exceeding the new retention limit may be permanently deleted after a 7-day grace period. You are responsible for exporting any transcripts you wish to keep before changing plans.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Tixora Studios and is protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of any part of the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TIXORA STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting a notice in the dashboard or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tixora Studios is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
